Using Proper Registry Repair Software

If you’re hoping to clean out the Windows registry then there are a few options you can use.  First of all, if you’re hoping to clean out the registry by hand the way you might clean off your desktop, think again.  The registry is a very complicated series of files and folders that baffle even the most experienced computer users.  Don’t do it.  Instead, use one of the Windows XP registry cleaners that are available online.

The best registry cleaner is RegCure.  I personally use this cleaner on my work computer and I find it to work very well.  There are a few other programs that are just as good, one of them being Registry Mechanic.  Make sure that you make the proper manual backups of your registry before making any changes.  This is standard procedure for any major changes to your computer.
