Trouble shoot old buildings

Although engineering software is generally used to build new structures or rather to calculate the structural integrity of a new structure, you can also use it to trouble shoot old buildings. If you can find a blue print of the building or you can visually inspect the building to some degree you can plug in the figures and the software can give you a best case calculation scenario. If you want to update the structure you can use this as a way to best figure out the best way to do it and using this data you can figure out the cheapest way to do it.
