Bad proxy server settings

I had a bit of an issue with my Vista machine the other day — I had downloaded a proxy script from a popular music website and it turns out that it messed up the proxy server settings that were used — when I called my computer manufacturers tech-support unit they told me that this was an ongoing issue with some users but that a fix for it was available from one of the upcoming Windows Vista updates that will be available soon. I can’t wait to get this issue fixed so that my computer will be back to its "old self." I need to be more careful what I download these days.
