The growth of the KSwiss worldwide
In 1985 Steven Nichols headed a group of investors that bought the company for $20 million. At the same time the classic KSwiss 5 stripes was born, the KSwiss tennis shoe was then known as the ‘classic 50-year shoe’. Soon after, the KSwiss trainer shoe was known worldwide and spread rapidly throughout stores in America, Europe and the rest of the world. In 2005 the global sales of the KSwiss tennis shoe reached a massive $500 million, the company continued to grow internationally and passed 100 million in revenue in Europe in 2006.
