Simple is best, and the Japanese Candlesticks prove it
Why do humans tend to make things more complicated than they need to be? I looked at new cars in several showrooms the other day. Just for kicks, not that I can afford it, I went to look at some of the German cars. You need to have a degree in engineering in order to drive one. The controls are very complicated. It seems that the cars were designed for the delight of the engineers rather than for the convenience of the customer. I like a car that is easy to use. The same thing applies to technical analysis of the stock markets. It was a revelation when I found Japanese Candlesticks. I had never heard of them until five or six years ago, and I approached the subject with some timidity. I shouldn’t have! The curtain went up, and for the first time I understood how the psycholocy of the mass f indidivual investords is revealed in plain sight for all to see. Everyone should learn the candles!
