Christmas Dessert Ideas
When Christmas comes it’s time to raise the dessert bar. I love making things like Red Velvet Cake with Buttercream Icing, White Chocolate Cake and my grandmother’s Old Fashioned Fudge. I’m also learning some new Christmas dessert ideas for this year, such as white chocolate bark with walnuts, dried apricots and cranberries, Strawberry triffle and fleur de sel caramels. Of course I’ll be making our annual batch of Mrs. Field’s Chocolate Chip Cookies and stuffed dates for my dad. There are many recipes that I enjoy cooking with my mother that we’re also teaching my daughter. We want my daughter to have all these recipes to pass down to her daughter someday.
