Located in Honolulu, is a very interesting museum. The U.S. Army Museum showcases the history of the military power in Hawaii. The collection and exhibits begin with the earliest Hawaiians and go all the way through to the Vietnam War. The museum has many great exhibits, all of which serve to further the knowledge of the visitor as well as to make sure they have an enjoyable experience. You will find quite a few exhibits that have more than just the display and photographs – many also have audio aspects that help get people into the mindset of being in the chaos of battle. One of the most popular exhibits in the museum details the warriors of ancient Hawaii including how they fought, the weapons they used as well as the gods to which they prayed. Visitors will also learn all about the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 as well as how that propelled the United States fully into the war. The Gallery of Heroes is dedicated to those who received the Congressional Medal of Honor, and the Distinguished Service Cross.
