Stop The Chewing Right Away

We decided when my son turned one that we wanted to adopt a dog.  We decided that we did not want a puppy because we did not want to have to worry about chewing and other destructive habits a puppy has.

We had to quickly stop dog chewing when we adopted our new dog.  That was his only bad habit.  He loved to chew on our shoes and the kids toys.  We wanted to make sure that we did not have to go out and purchase new shoes and toys.

That is why we have spent so much time finding ways to make sure that the dog will listen and stop chewing.  Of the past couple of months, he has gotten so much better.  On occasions we do find him chewing, but not often.
