Not as hard as you may think

If you want to get into buying investment property you may find it easier than you think. Drive around a neighborhood and look for abandoned houses. You can tell them because the yard will look bad, they will be empty, or they may have broken windows and graffiti on them. Search the records or have a title company do it for you to find the owner of record. Contact the owner and make an offer to buy the property. You may find them very receptive even if you make a pretty low offer. They just want to get rid of it and you are solving a problem for them.
