I Researched Single Parent Grants Because I Wanted a Better Future
The year I graduated from high school over half of the class was going on to college. I was getting married and thought I did not need more education. For ten years everything was fine, then I got divorced and became a single parent with two children. I soon realized that getting ahead at my job would be very hard without a degree, so I did an Internet search for single parent grants. My research showed that I was eligible for assistance and I enrolled that fall. That was five years ago and I am now in management, making twice the money I did when I was hired.
