When our son-in-law told us he was leaving his job andbecoming a surgical technologist, my husband were very interested. We knew that he would always make the best decision for himself andthe family, so we were curious about what classes does a surgical tech needs to take. He told us that you can take a diploma program or a 2 year program. You need to to take core subjects such as math, science and writing, which he already had, as well as anatomy and physiology, medical terminology and surgical procedures. My husband has already volunteered my services to help him in the first 2 clinical subjects.
