Panic Attacks Can Be Hereditary
Contrary to popular belief panic attacks can be hereditary. In my family I have had 2 uncles and a grandparent who have been prone to panic attacks. Now my sister has them. It is always worth checking down through your family tree to see if anybody else has suffered from such a disorder. I say this because many people discount it for fear of looking feeble. This is naive thinking, a) because it affects everybody in different ways, and b) because you never know what history may tell you. We all share in my sister’s anguish. It is a disorder inherited from family genes. If you do a bit of studying back through time you might be able to nail your panic attacks by understanding what they are and how others in your family treated them.
