Teleconferencing services - how to use them.

Some things to keep in mind when you are using teleconferencing services such as a conference call or video conference are;

Identify who you are before you begin speaking, otherwise those who aren’t familiar with your voice will not know who you are.

If you have a mute option on your end, use it when you aren’t speaking. This will cut down on background noise that you didn’t plan on.

Don’t use cell phones near the conference equipment. Cell signals can cut into the conference signal and cause static and other noise.

If you are the host, set an agenda and keep the call on task from beginning to end without being overbearing.
