Refinancing your home.

I have considered refinancing my home many times. Most recently because my husband and I purchase the home he was raised in with the thoughts that we would remodel it ourselves. Well, three children later, many things have remained undone, and I would like to go ahead and do a home refinance in order to hire someone to do the renovations. It would probably be cheaper than a divorce! Just kidding. My husband keeps saying that home refinance is not necessary and that we can still do the work ourselves, but we are not getting any younger and who knows what the future holds. Maybe I will just look into it; what can it hurt!
