Program For Kids Calls For Cool Toys
The local police department where I live always participates in outreach programs, and this summer it is primarily for children from low income neighborhoods. They are going to rent inflatable toys for the kids to play on, and they also ordered a bunch of presents for the kids from some toy wholesalers. They want to give each child a backpack filled with school supplies and some fun toys for them to enjoy. We sent out mailers to all of the local schools, and we have already received confirmation that we will have surpassed our attendance goal for the program. These kids are in for a real treat!
