My friend George, is a carpenter. A very high skilled carpenter. He does not just do rough framing, he does custom work. High end custom work. Things like balconies and railings, custom molding. He also makes rocking chairs. He advertises his business online through the search engines. At first he just targeted local areas, but now he is targeting global search terms which has done wonders for his business. He gets tons of calls in everyday for his expertise. He just gets to pick the jobs he wants and he gives the other leads away to his friends. I was amazed at how much business the search engines can bring in.
