Financial Planning Advice — Cut expenses

Times are tough for everyone.  Many of us have lost jobs.  Some of us who still have a job, have had our pay cut or bonuses reduced.  Others have adjustable mortgages and have seen the rates rise.  The common element here is that we now have less money to spend.  So what can be done to make ends meet?  Well, if basic finance 101 tells us that if we have less money to spend we should just borrow more, right?  WRONG!  This is the worst thing to do.  The answer of course is to spend less.  There are many ways to spend.  Have you thought about trying out a Voice over IP phone service.  These service can cut your monthly bills by $100-200 a month.  Perhaps you don’t need your premium cable channels anymore.  How about the health club?  Are you really going?
