Ductless Fume Hoods
I have just discovered a new type of hood that we can use in our laboratory and although I am very anxious to get them in here, I am wondering exactly how it works and where the fumes go. The product that we are looking at are the ductless fume hoods. I have seen a couple of experiments performed under the hoods and I was amazed at the result. How long has this product been tested on the market and what are the major differences compared to those with ducts. Obviously it would save a lot in the ducts but what else is there?
