Detroit Science Museum

On a recent vacation to visit relatives who live right outside of Detroit, we decided to venture into the craziness that is downtown to visit the Science Museum. The main exhibit featured actual human bodies that had been preserved. While that was definitely cool, we also visited the planetarium. The show was entitled “The Captivating Night Sky”, and the best part was wearing 3D glasses so that the shooting stars actually flew past our ears. At one point, I could see a child in front of my reaching up and grabbing at the air trying to touch the elusive stars. I am sure he was not the only one!
