Retirement Travels

After retiring, my grandparents have both done a lot of traveling.  They have been practically all over the world.  They enjoy going on adventures, experiencing different cultures, and trying new things.  I am hoping one day I will have an opportunity to do the same thing.  Last year they decided to spend four months in Mexico.  Instead of relying on rental services or public transportation, they decided to have their own vehicle shipped.  After looking at various vehicle transport companies over the internet, they finally picked the one they felt was the best.  In the long run, it did end up saving them a lot of money.  They did not have to pay long term rental fees or daily taxi fares.  Plus, they had the convenience of being able to use their own vehicle whenever they needed it.  Being older, in case of an emergency, they felt more comfortable having their own vehicle.  Having their personal vehicle with them also allowed them the freedom to travel more freely.
