How to electrify your Kinnor harp

Did you know that it is possible to electrify your Kinnor harp — or any harp, really? All that you need to do is to install what is called a tuner pickup. This is a small electronic microphone that attaches directly onto the surface of the harp — the other end of the cord has a standard sized jack that plugs into the input of a tuner unit. I guess these devices are used primarily with an electronic tuning device — I wonder, however, if they could be plugged into something like an amplifier? If that would be possible, then you could turn your harp into an extra-large size guitar!
